Avatar: The Last Earthbender Character Design

Zuko
Water Tribe

Chocolate-colored hair, usually worn loose

Born in the Northern Water Tribe; future chief of both tribes

An outcast since he spoke out at a war meeting, Prince Zuko is on a search to capture the Avatar (he's having difficulties getting out of the tundra, though). As punishment for speaking against his father's wishes, Zuko was kept in an ice cave for exactly three days. He fell asleep during the last few hours and his exposed skin was frostbitten -- it remains scarred to this day. He is currently learning to waterbend; he learned of his ability only recently, so prefers to use his dao.

Prince Zuko is a generally mellow person, mostly because he has lost his will to really care about anything. He works only to feed himself (which is also difficult, because the boy sucks at fishing) and find a way to the Earth Kingdom. He has a very quick temper, though, and tends to be blinded by anger.
